Dude, Whats My Job?
Managing Millennials in Todays Workforce
Millennials are infiltrating the workforce while managers and older generations are scrambling to understand and work with this unique crowd. Millennials are the group of new hires that started college in the new millennium, and they happen to be different. Not good different and not bad different - just different. The phrase, What is up with these new hires? is not a new one, but with millennials, there seems to be an entirely new set of challenges and opportunities.
This four-hour program is composed of two engaging modules. First, participants learn everything they need to know about millennials. What makes this generation tick? What are their assets, liabilities, communication preferences, and top motivators? Then Brad will offer a plan of attack on how to best work with and get the most out of millennials by providing a new set of managerial techniques that will appeal to this group. In conclusion, the workshop will cover sticky scenarios and real-world situations to make the program as tangible as possible.
Participants leave this session with the ability to:
- Understand what makes millennials unique
- Recognize the strengths and weaknesses of this group
- Motivate and inspire millennials to superior job performance
- Create a work environment that is empowering but structured
- Challenge millennials to succeed on the job
- Identify what traditional managerial techniques work and which ones will not
This engaging and dynamic workshop provides a specific plan of attack on managing millennials with success.
